Forum; North Yorkshire County Council Harrogate Area Committee.

and close contact with Harrogate Borough Councillors and officers;
other local Chambers; Business Link; Learning & Skills
Partnership, etc.

contact with North Yorkshire County Council Councillors and officials
through participation in the NYCC Harrogate Area Committee and
specialist Working Groups.

contact with other Chambers and Business Associations in Harrogate
District.

Publicising
the views of the Harrogate business community in the local press and
other media.

Monitoring
the performance of public services in the area and highlighting
inadequacies.

Using
our membership of Leeds Chamber of Commerce & Industry
effectively.

Taking
the initiative in advancing important matters up the local agenda by
involving others in partnerships to get things done.

Opening
up key topics for discussion in a more informal manner, at many
external meetings.

Using
the Focus Group structure to generate more involvement in Chamber
meetings with a view to increasing the number of achieved outcomes

Organising
a most effective business-to-business networking - free to members.
