Monthly Meetings
Currently
on the second Monday of each month members gather for informal
networking from 17.30 - 18.15, with complimentary refreshments, before the business meeting and continue in
the bar afterwards.
All
new members and new member company representatives present are invited to introduce
themselves at their first monthly business meeting.

2.
Business Safari
"Safari"
networking events are held three times a year. When the Safari starts members go to the
first table allocated on their card and then take it in turns to introduce
themselves and their business to the 6 or 7 other members at their table -
for "just a minute". After
about 15 minutes everyone moves to their next allocated table to meet a
new group of members who will no doubt have more good ideas. In theory
no-one will sit down with the same person twice, so you should be able to
exchange many new sales leads and new ideas for promoting business in
Harrogate with everyone present. See Meetings

3.
Focus Groups
The
five Focus Groups operate informally to
consider current issues and proposals for action on the following key
topics:
Business Promotion
Business Waste & Recycling
Promoting Harrogate
Town Centre Improvements
Traffic & Transport
The
Group members come together periodically following Chamber Meetings
and they also contact each other in between meetings to progress specific
issues. See Focus
Group page for details of the five Groups. Members can join any Focus
Group they have a particular interest in.
4.
Membership Directory
A
printed Membership Directory is available on request for all current
paid-up members to facilitate one-to-one contacts and individual
networking, but NOT for commercial contact by mail shots, bulk e-mailings,
faxing or telesales. There
is also a Membership Directory published on this website.

Mailing Services
The
Chamber undertakes mailings to members and local VIPs every month and once a year to the
whole Harrogate District. (See Promotion

pages for more information.)
