Welcome to E-Review, which this month replaces the usual hard copy sent by post to all company representatives. The Business Networking Safari was the main business at the December Members’ meeting, so we only have a few points to report to members from the business section of the meeting.

Ackrill Media Group Business Awards 2008-09 – 31st December 2008 is the last date to enter the Awards for business excellence in our region. Harrogate Chamber is again sponsoring the Best Small Company of the Year category. Members are urged to enter one of several categories covering all aspects of business. The glittering black tie Gala Awards Dinner will be held at Harrogate International Centre on Thursday, 26th March 2009.

David Cameron Answers Your Questions - The Leader of the Conservative Party will be in Harrogate on Thursday, 18th December to answer questions. He will be at Rossett School, Green Lane, Harrogate between 6.00pm-7.00pm.

This event is free but places must be booked in advance by e-mailing to cameron@yorkshireconservatives.org.uk. Anyone who lives in Harrogate, Knaresborough and the surrounding area is invited to apply.

Change to Meeting Timing - In response to requests from members for more networking time at the monthly meetings, in 2009 the business will begin at the slightly later time of 18.15. Members can then arrive from 17.30 to network for 45 minutes whilst enjoying complimentary refreshments.
