BUSINESS PROMOTION

Focus Group Aims: 

To promote business to business networking opportunities across the Harrogate District and adjacent areas. Current activities include low-cost Business Market, regular direct mail insertion opportunities and FREE monthly evening meetings .

BUSINESS WASTE & RECYCLING

Focus Group Aims:

To develop an action plan and list of organisations collecting and recycling more business waste.

PROMOTING HARROGATE

Focus Group Aims:

To help HIC promote Harrogate and thereby attract more business and leisure visitors, particularly in the quiet periods between major events.

TOWN CENTRE IMPROVEMENTS

Focus Group Aims: 

To identify ways in which the Town Centre can be made more attractive for both visitors and local residents.  Currently the Group is identifying improvements needed in Town Centre signposting.

TRAFFIC & TRANSPORT

Focus Group Aims:  

To identify and lobby for essential improvements to the road network and the public bus, rail and air services to and from Harrogate for visitors, local businesses and residents alike.
