and Boroughbridge business owners and managers are invited to this important
meeting on Monday 13th April from 18.00 to 20.30.
The Harrogate &
Knaresborough constituency will be a key battleground in the Parliamentary
Election due on 7th May. The seat has been held by Conservative Andrew Jones
since 2010, when he beat Lib Dem candidate Claire Kelley by just 1,039
votes. Prior to that, the MP was Lib Dem Phil Willis (now Lord Willis
of Knaresborough) who had been the town’s MP since famously beating
Conservative high flyer Norman Lamont in the 1997 General Election.
Each candidate will outline
their policies in five minutes and then take questions from the business community on
the key issues affecting the local economy.
As capacity is limited all who wish to attend must
pre-register by emailing full business contact details to
firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday, 10th April.
